We all want to send out a big "THANK YOU" to our recently retired Minister, Sam Prosise and his wife Barbara. They have been with the Church in the Wildwood since 1999.
Sam served the church with vigor for many years, teaching Sunday School and Bible Study, along with delivering the message for Sunday Service. His service was by no means limited to just those tasks...he also kept the lawn mowed, the heat on, the water tested, the church supplied with the necessary things that a church needs to run! He made the phone calls, and greeted the people, visited the sick, blessed the marriages, prayed with the dying, comforted those who lost a loved one, and he baptized the saved. Sam gave us his best, always! For all of that, we are eternally grateful!
Barbara also gave us her best! A kind, sensitive, talented woman who loves each person in the congregation! She was there to greet and talk with everyone...with a smile on her face or a tear in her eye. She shared our joy and our pain. She played the piano and sang like an angle. She's extremely talented in the kitchen and kept us supplied with goodies of all sorts!
We support their retirement decision and pray God touches their lives and showers them with blessings in the next leg of their journey! We love you both!
